Notes:

Upstairs in Whelans is always a great sounding venue and this reflects that I think, one of the better recordings I've done with the internal R-09 mics. Recording started out at input level 30 (the max) and steadily had to be adjusted downwards as the band got louder and louder as they progressed. It ended up around level 19/20 by the end of the second piece and stayed at that level. The difference in recording formats is down to space, I didn't know how much memory I'd have on my SD card so left it at 16/44. When they played the encore (track 4) I knew I'd have enough space for about 17 minutes at 24/48 and they played 16:53!

As always, this is best listened to on headphones and try not to disseminate in MP3 but I can't stop you if you do.
