here's a bunch of old drawings and paintings i did in high school years ago. i have more from 2023 but these are the best ones. since high school ended i haven't been drawing much, though a couple days ago i drew a self portrait, and in january i drew the album cover for the sketches ep, those two were my first real attempts at drawing anything since i did these ones.

this one is from march 3rd 2023, copied from a photo using the grid method. if i remember correctly this is pencil, colored pencil and oil pastels. i think the assignment was to just get a bunch of random objects and draw them, try to draw complex 3d forms.. oh yeah speaking of which i have another similar one i almost didn't include here

febuary 23rd 2023, 3D form and perspective study. this one wasn't using the grid method, this time i had the objects in actually front of me and i tried to recreate them as best i could

april 4th 2023, watercolor landscape. from a reference photo i found online (no grid this time)

may 8th 2023. attempt to draw a cat without directly copying from a reference photo.. a little off, didn't turn out as great but its alright i guess. didn't put nearly as much effort into the background haha. the cat is all pencils and colored pencils, the background is i think oil pastels

may 30th 2023. gouache i think. traced the borders using the grid method from a photo i took of objects provided in class, the assignment was to draw an apple and a skull alongside each other. really proud of this one. i think i painted the skull in under an hour because i didn't have much time left to turn in the assignment, but it turned out really nice even though it was rushed
